I am in Central Europe and the public toilets here are amazingly clean. I have not yet encountered a toilet that I needed to wipe down. I haven’t seen any stray pee or poo marks on the seats. The floors are also clean (no splashes or puddles of urine, and no littered toilet paper on the tiles). My fear of public bathrooms is diminishing here, though I would not recommend dropping a deuce at the bus station toilet. It doesn’t matter where in the world you are, bus station bathrooms are disgusting (but the toilet seats here are still urine-less!).
