Would you walk into a public park’s restroom barefoot? What if the restroom had a clogged toilet and the entire floor was flooded with questionable fluids and little floating bits? What if you were wearing something (for example, a long dress) that dragged on the floor while you walked? What if the electricity was out and the only light inside the restroom was coming from a tiny window in the corner? What if there was no toilet paper and no hand soap? The answer to all these questions should be NO, yet the woman in front of me who walked into the restroom barefoot while her dress trailed behind her didn’t mind those drawbacks. Good for her for not discriminating against public restrooms on their appearance and cleanliness. I hope she didn’t have any open wounds on her foot.
